Steel Processing
The commissioning of the FICEP Beam Line & Orient Drilling machine in November 2019 adds another arm to the A Plus Steel Fabrication arsenal, as we can now Process, Fabricate, Sandblast and Paint structural steel all in house on our 4000m2 site. The new machine can cut, drill & weld prep plate, pipe & all types of structural steel which allows our qualified tradespeople to fabricate the steel more efficiently ready for the next process.
Detailing
As part of our drafting services we offer 3D BIM (Building Information Modelling)
BIM is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.
Workshop Fabrication
Our new premises boast a 2,000m2 workshop that is well-equipped with 4 x 5 Tonne gantry cranes (5.3m clearance) with multiple roller doors with maximum height clearance of 6.7m. We can complete projects from simple components to complex structural assemblies.
Maintenance
We can provide ongoing maintenance to your existing plant or machinery, whether it is monthly, quarterly or annually we can tailor a package that suits your business. We understand how important it is to keep your equipment in good working order to ensure longevity, durability and productivity. We are also experienced in moving and installing heavy machinery, with access to specialised equipment, to ensure a safe, well-executed delivery and installation that best suits your needs.
Sandblasting & Painting
Our new premises boast a 215 m2 sand blasting facility & a 1,575 m2 spraying facility which allows A Plus Steel Fabrication with the support of ProFinish Coatings to handle to entire project in house. This allows us to pass on cost & time savings to our clients. We can also offer Fire Protection (Vermiculite Fire Spray, Fire retardant board, Intumescent Paint, Fire Rate duct work & Fire stopping penetrations) through our Partners at ProFinish Coatings. Site Construction
Not only are our projects fabricated within our well-equipped Workshop, we can also offer on site installation by our teams of qualified riggers & fitters, with minimal interruption or disruption to your productivity. We can also provide professional, experienced and safe haulage assistance.
Labour Hire
We can also offer our skilled workforce of boiler makers, fitters & riggers to help our clients on site for maintenance, shut downs & project work if required at very competitive rates. Contact us for further information.
